We are looking for a committed nursing assistant who wants to help us continue to create psychiatric care of the highest quality.
Description
We are looking for a curious, creative, and responsible nursing colleague for ward 70, which is focused on general psychiatry and belongs to Psychiatry South Stockholm. We are located at Nacka Hospital and also collaborate closely with eight other psychiatric neighboring wards.
Responsibilities
Working as a nursing assistant in psychiatric inpatient care is an important and meaningful job. The role involves providing patients with psychiatric care and security. A good approach and providing support are very important tools in the contact with patients. In the ward, we actively work to create safety and ensure security through Safewards and the Bergen model. We use the Take Care journal system.
Employment form
The position is permanent, 100% day, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry/USK with experience and interest in psychiatric care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where we value flexibility and good collaboration skills. We would like you to:
- Be curious, creative, and responsible
- Have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues but can also work independently and make your own decisions when necessary
A nursing assistant certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required (protected professional title), as well as at least one year of experience in psychiatric care.
Requirements
Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or an employer certificate confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) in the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you are applying with an employer certificate, you should attach your nursing assistant diploma.

- in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
